Dr Francesco Pennisi, Chinese Medicine

Francesco is a highly qualified and experienced practitioner with over 35 years of clinical practice in Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine. Over this time Francesco has treated patients using various therapies, including Acupressure, Qi Gong therapy (Chinese energy work), kinesiology, Tui na, and other modalities. For the past 25 years, Francesco has been primarily focused on the practice Classical Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Francesco’s (Acu) passion for Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine began at a very young age. His journey started in primary school when he picked up his first book on Eastern Philosophy. This interest has led him on an incredible journey filled with many stories and moments, culminating in his role as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist at his Brisbane clinics in Balmoral and Alexandra Hills.

In 2015, Francesco was appointed as a lecturer and student clinic supervisor at the Endeavour College of Natural Medicine. His aim is to help maintain and increase the standard of education for Chinese Medicine in Brisbane and Australia.

Education

For over three decades he has studied, researched and undergone a personal journey into the Eastern approach to health. Dr Francesco (Acupuncture) carried out his education in Melbourne and China, and is now a registered Practitioner Chinese Medicine with APRHA Australia and member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association AACMA.

In China, Francesco studied at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In the hospital, Francesco treated patients in both the inpatient and outpatient Departments. In the wards inpatient wing of the hospital Francesco was allocated to the Diabetes, Stroke patient, Cancer, Neurological, Sports injury, Gynaecology, and the Psychiatric departments, providing him with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
